Jennifer Losee

Founder & Executive Director

Jennifer lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and two children. She has worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years and has always had a passion for helping others. Volunteering has always been a big part of her heart and truly the reason why this non-profit was created.

"It is the simple act of kindness that can bring people together and create change."

With determination and hard work, Roots with Purpose will be able to bridge the large gap there is in our unhoused communities in the Triangle area.

Derrick Losee

Board President

Derrick has been in the business management arena for over 25 years. From start-ups to corporate, he's been able to foster relationships regardless of his position. His passion for this non-profit is something that he has never felt before and is driven to make it a success in helping our unhoused neighbors here at home and wherever the help is needed.

"These neighbors are wanting to feel a sense of belonging and worth as they try to get back on their feet in this world."

Derrick enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and exploring new places together!

Lisa joined Roots with Purpose as a way of reaching her community in a new way. "I see every day on my way to work and even during my weekend errands that there is such a need in our community." A little bit may not seem like much to me, but to someone else a little bit can be huge." I'm excited to be a part of this incredible organization.
