Opportunity descriptions.
Fundraising Committee Chair:
The committee chair will be responsible for attending committee meetings, recruiting committee members and the overall function of the fundraising duties for our organization. The fundraising committee will be responsible for designing a program that will allow our organization to effectively raise funds to carry out our mission.
Program Committee Chair: The committee chair will be responsible for attending committee meetings, recruiting committee members and the overall function of our programs. The chair will assist with evaluating existing programs, and oversees program expansion and development.
Volunteer Committee Chair:
The committee chair will be responsible for attending committee meetings, recruiting committee members and seeking quality volunteers to be able to staff events and programs as needed. The committee chair will work closely with the Program committee.
Marketing Committee Chair:
The committee chair will be responsible for attending committee meetings, recruiting committee members and the overall function of our marketing needs. This person will interact with the community, as well as our volunteers. This person will also be able to share vital information that our organization is doing with the public to raise awareness on our impact and needs.
Committee Members:
All committee members will be responsible for attending committee meetings, sharing ideas and inspiration, attending events related to the mission of our organization, and being a positive, active member. Our members will be required to specify which committee they’d like to be a part of and can choose to serve on up to 2 committees.
Board Vice-President: The board vice-president will be responsible for attending all board meetings and will help side-by-side with our Board President. This person will ensure that all committees have what they need to succeed and can also participate in one of our committees if they choose.
Board Secretary: The board secretary will be responsible for attending all board meetings, distributing the meeting agenda and recording the minutes of each meeting. This person will also make sure all paperwork is filed and organized for easy access. The board secretary can also participate in one of our committees if they choose.
Board Treasurer: The board treasurer will be responsible for attending all board meetings and overseeing our organization’s financial condition by keeping track of receipts and disbursements. This person will also be able to be a part of one of our committees if they choose.
